Giant Coloring Posters for Therapy & OT

Q: Can one poster serve a whole group?

Yes — a 30"×42" poster seats several clients around one table, and a group project can stay on the table across sessions until it is finished and goes up on the wall.

Some clients talk. Some need their hands busy before the words come.

One poster on the table gives a session something to gather around: a client can color for two minutes or twenty, join in without having to talk, and leave with the picture further along than they found it. The same poster works for the whole group at once — open sections for broad, easy strokes, more detailed corners for the client who wants a challenge — and nobody can do it wrong.

These designs were picked for therapy and occupational therapy: bold outlines, familiar subjects — flowers, animals, encouraging words — sections graded for fine-motor work, and nothing so fine it turns a session into a test. Every poster is printed one at a time in our Cherry Hill shop on heavy 35 lb Canon paper.

Why these designs

Not every poster belongs in a therapy room. The ones in this collection follow the thinking in our guides: coloring works in sessions because a client can join in without having to talk, and the same sheet offers easy wins and harder corners. → Read the guides: Sensory Activities for Adults with Autism and ADHD: Why Coloring Works · Group Therapy Activities for Adults

How programs use them

Group therapy: one poster on the table for the whole group — a shared project that carries across sessions, finished together.
Occupational therapy: graded fine-motor work on one sheet — broad strokes in the open sections, more precise coloring in the detailed areas.
Sensory programs (autism & ADHD): a predictable, quiet table activity with a clear start, no mess to manage, and a visible result.
Counseling & waiting areas in practices: a poster in the room gives clients something settling to do with their hands before and between appointments.

FAQ

What makes a coloring poster work in a therapy session?

Bold outlines and familiar subjects, so a client can join in at any level — two minutes or twenty, talking or not. The same design holds open sections for easy strokes and more detailed corners for clients who want them.

Are these good for occupational therapy and fine-motor practice?

The designs are graded on one sheet: wide sections for broad movement, smaller areas for more precise work. A therapist can match the poster — or the corner of it — to the goal of the session, and the client still ends up contributing to one shared picture.
