Giant Coloring Posters for Adults

A coloring book closes. This stays on the table until it's done — and it takes its time.

These are adult coloring posters, at the scale adults actually want: wall-size mandalas and detailed designs, printed big enough that the fine work is a pleasure instead of an eye exam. Tape one to the table or the wall, color a section with coffee in the morning or to unwind at night, and watch it come together over days or weeks. It is the screen-free hour, at furniture scale — and when it's done, it's big enough to frame.

The collection runs from bold florals you can finish in a weekend to intricate mandalas that will keep you busy for a month. Every poster is printed one at a time in our Cherry Hill shop on heavy 35 lb Canon paper.

Why these designs

Adult coloring works when the design respects the colorist: real detail, balanced patterns, and paper heavy enough for brush pens and gel pens. Our guide covers why giant posters in particular work for adults — the scale, the slow finish, the mindfulness of one section at a time, and why people end up coloring them together. → Read the guide: Giant Coloring Posters for Adults

How adults use them

Stress relief at home: one poster on the table, a section at a time — the evening unwind that isn't a screen.
A project with a finish line: detailed mandalas that take days or weeks, so there's always a piece waiting for you.
Coloring together: big enough for two — couples, friends, a parent and a grown kid home for the weekend — around the same picture.
Stays out until it's done: it lives on the table for days or weeks, a section at a time — not back on a shelf between sittings.

FAQ

How is a giant poster different from a coloring book?

Scale and staying power. A book page is small, private, and done in an evening; a poster is wall-size, stays out on the table for days or weeks, more than one person can work on it — and the finished piece is big enough to frame.

I'm a beginner — are the mandalas too hard?

Start with the bold designs (Flowers, Flower Garden, Sea Turtle) and move up to the intricate mandalas when you want a longer project. There is no wrong way to color any of them — the detailed ones just take longer, which is the point.

What should I color it with?

Colored pencils, brush pens, gel pens and good markers all work well on the heavy 35 lb paper. Cheap heavy alcohol markers are the exception — they will bleed through, so save those for marker paper.

What do I do with it when it's finished?

Most people frame theirs — at 30"×42" and up, a finished poster is a real piece of wall art, and it's one you made. Some start the next one the same week.
