A giant Hanukkah coloring poster can cover the whole kids' table for all eight nights. No new craft needed each night. SJPrinter's new poster is 30 by 72 inches, one printed sheet. It's split into two halves that face opposite ways. Kids on either side of the table see their own words and pictures right-side up.
It has a real dreidel game built in, plus eight nights of menorahs to color one at a time. The story of Hanukkah runs across four panels. Older kids get their own puzzles. Every image on it is actually Hanukkah. Nothing generic snuck in.

Why so many Hanukkah posters aren't actually Hanukkah
We looked at what's already selling before we designed ours. One popular 6-foot coloring tablecloth gets the same complaint over and over. Too many items aren't Hanukkah at all. Buyers point to the Ten Commandments and a Torah. Apples and honey show up too, and that's a Rosh Hashanah food, not a Hanukkah one. Buyers do love the gelt and the dreidels. The menorahs too. They just don't love the rest mixed in.
So we built ours the other way. We wrote down what belongs on a Hanukkah table. We wrote down what doesn't. Then we checked every image against both lists.
| Goes on the poster | Left off on purpose |
|---|---|
| A hanukkiah with 8 candles plus a raised shamash | Star of David and Torah. Tallit and kippah too. |
| Dreidels marked Nun, Gimel, Hei, and Shin | Rosh Hashanah symbols: apples and honey, a shofar |
| Gelt and latkes. Sufganiyot and the jug of oil. | Shabbat symbols: challah and Shabbat candles |
| The Maccabees and the Temple story | Snowflakes and wrapped gifts |
| A Hebrew greeting, checked letter by letter | The seven-branch Temple menorah. It's a different menorah, and a common mix-up. |
We checked the dreidel rules too. Nun means do nothing. Gimel takes the whole pot. Hei takes half. Shin means put one piece in. That last letter also carries the holiday's own line: nes gadol haya sham, a great miracle happened there.
Built for the whole table, not just one end
Most Hanukkah coloring tablecloths print in one direction. Sit across the table and the design is upside down to you. Ours splits down the middle. One half says "Happy Hanukkah." The other says "Chanukah Sameach." Both read right-side up from their own end of the table.

The content comes in three sizes too, so one poster still works for a wide age range sitting at the same table.
| Age | What they'll color |
|---|---|
| 3 to 6 | A giant 13-inch hanukkiah and big bubble letters. Easy for small hands to stay inside the lines. |
| 6 to 9 | The food row: latkes and sufganiyot. Gelt and a box of 44 candles to color in. |
| 7 to 10 | A word search and a maze. Plus a candle-count riddle with the answer printed upside down. |
That three-size layout answers something we saw in competitor reviews, where buyers wished some pieces were smaller for kids up to age 10. This poster has a size for the toddler and a size for the fifth grader.
It's also a game board

A "Spin the Dreidel" panel sits right on the poster. The real rules print next to it. Nobody has to dig up a dreidel or look up the rules on a phone mid-game.

We also built a one-page printable to go with it: the four dreidel letters and the real rules, a scorecard for up to four players, and a row of eight circles to mark off each night the hanukkiah gets lit. No purchase needed.

Who shouldn't buy this one
This poster is strictly Hanukkah. If you want one tablecloth that covers Hanukkah plus Christmas plus New Year's, this isn't that. We'd rather say so now than have it arrive and not fit what you needed. It also prints on one side only, so it's meant to be read from the two long sides of a table, not from directly above.
A family setting up a kids' table for several nights of Hanukkah buys this one for a simple reason. One poster replaces a different craft every night. It's also the only one we found that's strictly Hanukkah, not a mix of Jewish symbols and winter clipart.
One SJPrinter customer, reviewing a different giant coloring poster, wrote: "It was the perfect size! Served as holiday decoration and great activity for young and older individuals." That's the same idea here. This one is sized for a holiday table instead of a wall. A toddler and a grandparent can sit side by side and both find something made for them.
FAQ
When is Hanukkah in 2026?
Hanukkah 2026 runs from sundown on Friday, December 4 through nightfall on Saturday, December 12.
How many candles do you need for all eight nights?
44. The nightly candles add up to 36: 1 plus 2 plus 3, on up through 8. Add one shamash candle per night, and that's 8 more.
What are the actual dreidel rules?
Nun means the player does nothing and passes it on. Gimel means take the whole pot. Hei means take half the pot, rounded up. Shin means put one piece into the pot. Everyone adds one piece before each round starts.
Can this go in a classroom or Hebrew school, not just at home?
Yes. Many buyers use it that way. Going into a public school classroom instead of a home or synagogue? Check first whether the room marks several December holidays or just this one. Not every class celebrates Hanukkah.
What age range does this actually work for?
All of them, at one table. Toddlers color the giant hanukkiah and the bubble letters. Kids 7 to 10 get a word search and a maze sized for them. Nobody is stuck with content that's too easy or too hard for them.
Does it ship flat or rolled? Will it crease?
Rolled in a tube, every time. It never gets folded or creased in shipping.
